Ever notice how small annoyances demand your attention - like a cat meowing for food even when the bowl is full?

Our emotions do the same thing. Instead of reacting with frustration, we can meet them with curiosity, acknowledge them, and move forward with ease.

These 4 steps helped me move from drinking my body weight in caffeine to feeling energized and GROUNDED all day.

Coffee works until it doesn’t.

I found that focusing on these healthy lifestyle factors like eating a balanced diet, hydration, regular meals, and daily movement did much more for my energy levels, anxiety, and focus, than spending hours refilling my coffee cup ever did.

If you want to more sustainable energy source, give these a try!

Highly sensitive people are described as those who are more strongly affected by what they experience.

We can be more sensitive to the physical environment, social relationships, work conditions, etc.

I made so many mistakes that made my life harder than it had to be before I fully understood that I was highly sensitive and what that meant.

The main mistake was just a lack of knowledge. I saw high sensitivity as a weakness that I had to overcome. But in reality, high sensitivity, or being a highly sensitive person, is actually a human trait that around 15-20% of the population experience! ❤️❤️

So it’s not about getting rid of your sensitivity, but about finding ways to support yourself and work WITH your sensitivity instead of against it.

Ever feel like you’re stuck in a hamster wheel of anxiety and overwhelm? 🐹

You’re not alone!

In this productivity-based culture where everything is moving too fast, we’re all constantly racing to get everything checked off our to-do list.

I’ve learned that this frantic running-around just leads to overwhelm, because the to-do list just keeps getting longer. There’s actually no finishing it!

So what if instead of jumping from one thing to the next, you took a moment to breathe, pause, and be present?

When we create micro moments through the day where we shift our focus from “doing” to “being”, we create space for clarity and peace in our minds.

This is how we reduce the anxious chatter.

My favourite way to practice “being” is during my short morning, noon, or after work walks. I go without my headphones and just take in the sights, listen to the birds, and connect with my breath.

I always feel more connected, focused, and refreshed after I do this.

How do you practice “being” in your life?

I love reading so much. I also really love, crave, and NEED my alone time - especially on Friday after working with people all week.

I love what I do, but it can also be draining because I try to give my all to my clients, I have a big heart, and I care about the work that I do. And all this means that I need to focus on self-care and on finding ways to restore my energy outside of work.

For me, getting lost in a book is one of my favourite ways to unwind, recharge, and to make sure that by Monday I’ve fully reset. ✨👏🏻

The weekends go by fast and that’s why I’ve found it so important to prioritize wellness.

And wellness means balance!

I’m going to read, exercise, have some alone time.

But I’m also going to do housework, socialize, and have a glass of wine.

When it comes to self-care, there are no rules or one-size-fits-all.

What are your fave self-care routines? 👇🏻 🌸

I've been working on something really exciting and could use some help spreading the word! 💫

As many of you know, I’m a mental health occupational therapist. But I’m also a health coach and personal trainer!

Over the past few months, I’ve been pouring my heart into creating a 1:1 holistic fitness coaching program that blends movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and self-care. 🤗🤗.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how hard it can be to find balance when life gets overwhelming (especially if you’re navigating ADHD like me). Between work, family, and everything else, it’s tough to fit in a fitness routine that actually works for your energy levels and helps you feel better, not more stressed.

This month, I’m looking for 3-4 women who are ready to get their health & fitness on track, even if you’ve struggled with low energy, stress, or with making self-care a priority.

👉🏻 As I build my clientele, I have special, affordable pricing for the next 4 people to join 😊

If you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, or stuck, and you want to:

✨ Boost your energy and feel more motivated—without forcing yourself into intense workouts
✨ Get in shape while focusing on your mental and emotional well-being
✨ Create lasting, sustainable changes through gentle movement, nutrition, and stress management strategies
✨ Learn how to prioritize self-care in a way that doesn’t feel like another chore

This program might be exactly what you need! 🧘‍♀️✨

Shoot me a message if you’re curious or want to chat more about what I’ve been up to! 💖

Hey friends!

Is there anyone out there looking for a low-stress, non-intimidating fitness program that focuses on feeling good?

🌸I’m creating a simple holistic fitness program that prioritizes mental-wellbeing, energy boosts, and stress relief rather than a hardcore body transformation.

✨I’m looking for 3-4 people to join this September at a super affordable investment who are looking for a sustainable, low-pressure fitness routine that they can maintain for the long-run! ✨

My program is especially suited for women who:
🫶🏻 don’t want to carve out long hours in the gym, but just want gentle, short routines, that fit into your schedule.
🫶🏻 mostly hate HIIT classes, intense boot camps, & high-pressure fitness
🫶🏻 reject the “no pain, no gain” mindset
🫶🏻 have been putting off fitness because everything else feels too hard, too time-consuming, or too intense

If this sounds like you, you likely don’t need another intense fitness challenge that’s going to burn you out after two weeks.

You need something you’ll stick with—and that’s exactly what my program delivers. Simple & Sustainable.

The best part about my program? It's easy to follow, it’s low pressure, and I’m gonna give you the exact steps to make this a part of your life—for good. 😊

If you’re interested, send me a DM or comment “fitness” below and I’ll reach out.

Also, please share with someone who might be interested, or who also hates intense fitness regimes 🤗

Stress May Be Draining You More Than You Realize—Here’s How to Get Ahead of It

Hey there! If you're in a helping role, whether you're a nurse, therapist, physio, OT, doctor, caregiver, youth worker, etc., you know how easy it is to get caught up in caring for everyone else.

But here’s the thing: all that giving can take a hidden toll on your well-being. Chronic stress can creep in and lead to burnout, making it harder to be there for those who rely on you.

Let’s Talk About the Signs

It’s crucial to recognize how stress shows up in your life. Are you feeling:
- Constantly fatigued?
- Restless at night?
- A bit more anxious or irritable than usual?
- Struggling to focus?

If you nodded along to any of these, you’re not alone—and there are things you can do to feel better.

Here Are Some Effective Strategies:

Mindfulness Practices: Try to weave mindfulness into your daily routine. Simple techniques like meditation or deep breathing can work wonders for calming your mind and keeping stress at bay.

Get Moving: Exercise doesn’t have to be a chore. Find activities you love—whether it’s a brisk walk, yoga, or even a dance party in your living room. Work up to at least 30 minutes a day to boost your energy and mood.

Eat Well: Nourishing your body with balanced meals is a game-changer. Proper nutrition fuels both your physical and mental health, helping you maintain the stamina you need in your demanding role.

Lean on Your Support System: Don’t forget to connect with colleagues and friends. Sharing your experiences can lighten the load and remind you that you’re not alone on this journey.

Set Boundaries: It’s okay to say no! Protecting your time and energy is essential to preventing burnout. Prioritize self-care so you can show up fully for both yourself and others.

Managing stress is key to staying healthy and ensuring you can provide the best care possible. By nurturing yourself, you empower your ability to help those around you. Start small, and create a routine that works for you—you’ve got this!

I'd love to hear about how you currently manage stress, let me know in the comments below!

P.S. My holistic health coaching program, Glow & Grow, is now enrolling for September. We have 4 more spots available!

If you’re ready to take control of your health and simplify self-care, my 16-week program is for you. We’ll tackle stress, energy, and focus with practical, sustainable habits. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for your life and schedule. Reach out today to find out how we can work together!

We don’t need cold plunges, intermittent fasting, keto diets, or whatever the next fad is.. we need to get back to the basics.

We’re stressed out. Many of the systems that we work in are broken, productivity standards are too high, & we have an endless list of responsibilities.

Now, more than ever, we need to establish firm boundaries for ourselves, our energy levels, and what we will or will not tolerate in our workplace and our relationships.

As we continue working hard for what’s most important while we balance our personal lives, it’s essential to keep our foundations strong.

We can’t just “do more” and “try harder” if we want to create real change within ourselves and our world. We need to take care of ourselves as much as possible so we can show up AS our best selves.

Back to basics ✨

I'll never forget the time I stood at the front of my grade 11 class, cue cards in hand, 21 pairs of eye balls 👀 staring at me, and looking over at my teacher saying "I'm sorry, I can't do this, I'm gonna cry" *cue running to the bathroom to hide my face*. 😅

Nobody wants to be the 16-year-old girl who cries when it's her turn to read her speech. I was sooo embarrassed. And also ashamed that I couldn't handle something as simple as reading a speech in front of the 21 people I grew up with (I was in french immersion and my class almost never changed).

It's weird because I actually won a speech competition back in elementary school.

I'm not exactly sure when the shift happened, but slowly, year after year... I developed a good ole case of anxiety. 🙉

But back then, I didn't have the words for why I often only went to school after the first break on Monday mornings, why my stomach always hurt, and why I got so many headaches.

I wish that I knew why I was feeling the things that I was, and how to fix it. So I hope that this visual helps you understand the cycle of anxiety and how to fix it.

Learning coping skills and slowly facing your anxiety triggers is the best way to move through anxiety and live life to the fullest. [this is called exposure therapy ]

Did you suffer from anxiety as a kid? What's one thing that you got over as you got older?

PS. I now LOVE public speaking and teaching and presenting. I've come a long way since crying in front of my class!

Got out for my first bike ride if the year a couple of days ago and let me tell you.. it filled my CUP.

I get so restless when I don’t move my body. My restlessness turns into anxiety, and too much anxiety turns into low mood, and it just keep spiralling from there.

I’m the kind of girl who needs a solid plan to stay on top of my health and my mental well-being… or else I just won’t do it. And then I’m the one who suffers.

Kids need this too! Or else they just won’t do the things that keep them feeling well.

Do you have any hacks to get moving? Let me know!!
