In our pilot study, IVF specialists shared that their patients who access naturopathy and acupuncture:

✔ Feel calmer and happier through treatment
✔ Make positive lifestyle changes (better diet, less stress, improved sleep)
✔ Engage more actively in their IVF journey

From Saturday through Tuesday, Gina, Tina, Georgia and Charmaine were on the ground in Adelaide representing our work in integrative fertility care. Christina, one of our co-authors, was with us in spirit from Melbourne.

It’s always such a privilege to stand alongside specialists, scientists, researchers, and practitioners who are shaping the future of reproductive medicine. This year, we were especially proud to share our pilot study on collaborative care in IVF - highlighting patient and specialist perspectives on how naturopathy and acupuncture can support both outcomes and experiences.

✨ Poster Presentation at FSANZ 2025 ✨

We’re so proud to have presented our poster “Enhancing IVF Outcomes Through Integrative Care: The Role of Naturopathy & Acupuncture” at the Fertility Society of Australia & New Zealand Conference 2025.

Our pilot study highlights the benefits of collaborative, evidence-informed care - bringing together naturopathy, acupuncture and IVF specialists to support patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives.

Standing beside our work today, we’re reminded of the 24+ years of dedication, clinical experience, and innovation at Fertile Ground Health Group - and the power of collaboration to create better outcomes.

Grateful to our patients, colleagues (now and over all the years) and the IVF specialists who shared their voices in this project. 💚

We are beyond thrilled and grateful to officially introduce Nina Isabella as an abundant, multi-experienced, and devoted practitioner who joined the Fertile Ground team in late June 🫶

Nina is a holistic women’s health counsellor, childbirth educator and somatic psychotherapist. Her approach, Womanly Counselling, weaves together inclusive, trauma-informed care with somatic practices, like mindfulness, breathwork and therapeutic yoga.

We’ve been accepted to present at this year’s Fertility Society of Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ) Conference – and we’re calling on our community to help shape the conversation.

Our presentation focuses on collaborative care in IVF, and we’re gathering real insights from both patients and healthcare professionals to highlight what’s working – and what needs to change.

We’ve created two quick surveys:

As we move through a period of internal growth and refinement, please note that we have made a small adjustment to our trading hours (reception/dispensary hours).

🌱 Monday - Friday: 9am - 5.30pm
🌱 Saturday: 9am - 3pm
🌱 Closed Sunday as usual (open for massage - bookings essential)

Earlier and later appointments remain available between 7.30am - 8pm on weekdays, and 8am - 4pm on Saturdays, with selected practitioners.
