How to strap for a sternoclavicular (SC) Joint injury.

The SCJ connects your collarbone (clavicle) to your breastbone (sternum) β€” it’s the only true joint linking your upper limb to your trunk. πŸ’ͺ

It allows movements of the shoulder girdle like elevation, depression, and rotation β€” crucial for overhead and athletic motions. πŸ‰πŸ€

⚑ Common Mechanism of Injury:
πŸ‘‰ Direct impact to the chest or shoulder (e.g. rugby tackle or fall).
πŸ‘‰ Force transmitted along the clavicle during contact.

These injuries can range from mild sprains to dislocations β€” posterior dislocations are rare but serious and need urgent attention 🚨
