Fronting is when a child says a sound made in the front of the mouth instead of a sound made in the back of the mouth 👄
It’s a common speech pattern in young children learning to talk, but if it continues past ages 3.5-4, a speech pathologist can help!
Some examples of fronting include:
🌟 car ➡️ tar
🌟 go ➡️ dough
🌟 key ➡️ tea
