Making stuttering a 'bad' thing can lower children's confidence, and lead to word avoidance or children finding it difficult to talk in social settings. Instead, give them time to get their ideas out and keep calm.

Retell - use 'first, next, then' to tell a retell. For earlier language users, take pictures of each step to help
Following instructions - give your little one instructions as you go
