Reflecting on 2025 ✨

This year, PSWA continued to expand its reach across WA, connecting pharmacists through networking events, celebrating innovation at our annual Innovation Night and recognising excellence through university awards and the Eric Kirk Memorial Award.

We also maintained our commitment to advancing pharmacy-led research through the J M O’Hara Research Grant, a cornerstone of PSWA’s mission to support innovation and evidence-based practice. The 2025 grant recipient will be announced soon.

Thank you to our members, Board and Subcommittees for contributing to another inspiring year. We look forward to continuing to strengthen PSWA in 2026.

Wonderful to see Naomi’s achievement being celebrated at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

PSWA is proud to have awarded her the 2025 Eric Kirk Memorial Award for her leadership and impact in oncology pharmacy.

We're thrilled to share that our very own Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Naomi van Hagen has been awarded the 2025 Eric Kirk Memorial Award by the Pharmaceutical Society of WA.

This prestigious award recognises Naomi’s outstanding contribution to pharmacy practice in WA, particularly her leadership and vision in advancing oncology pharmacy and improving patient outcomes across both hospital and community settings.

Reconnecting after 40 years ✨

PSWA was delighted to help connect the Class of 1985 as they celebrated their 40-year reunion.

The group shared a wonderful evening and have already decided to make it an annual tradition.

“It was a wonderful evening, and everyone looked great, but for me the real magic came when I closed my eyes for a moment and heard a group of voices and laughs that I hadn’t heard for 40 years.”
- Andrea Milani

PSWA is proud to support meaningful connections within the pharmacy community.
