📅 "SUPPORT AT HOME" PROGRAM POSTPONED
As part of the Government’s Aged Care Reform, the Support at Home program was originally planned to commence on 1 July 2025.
However, we have now received official confirmation that the program has been postponed until 1 November 2025.

✅ WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
🛡️ All of your current services will remain unchanged.
💵 Existing pricing will stay the same for now.
🧾 We will pause all discussions regarding pricing or budget changes until further guidance is provided by the Government.
🤝 Home Caring Footscray remains committed to providing the same dedicated, high-quality care as always.

📅 It’s World Haemochromatosis Week.

Haemochromatosis is an inherited iron overload condition that affects 1 in 200 Australians with European ancestry, making it the most common genetic disorder in Australia.

If undetected and untreated, it can cause organ or tissue damage.

The good news is that early detection helps.

Symptoms can include:
🩸 fatigue and weakness
🩸 weight loss
🩸 abdominal pain
🩸 joint aches.

If you are concerned about your symptoms, or are related to a carrier, speak to your doctor and ask for a blood test.
