You don’t need to be falling apart to benefit from therapy.

Here are four myths that still show up, and what is actually true.

You only go to therapy when something is wrong.

Therapy can support growth, self-awareness, and clarity.
Myth 2:
People who go to therapy are weak.
Truth:
Seeking support takes strength.
Myth 3:
Therapy is just like talking to a friend.
Truth:
It is an active process with goals, tools, and strategies.
Myth 4:
All therapists are the same.
Truth:
There are different approaches and areas of expertise. Finding the right fit matters.
Therapy isn’t just a place to unpack what is hard.
It is also a space to learn how to live better.
