We do this in solidarity with the family, the Alice Springs community, and all communities who are absolutely heartbroken over this loss 💔

PINK was Kumanjayi Little Baby's favourite colour.

🌾 Fibre: One of the Most Powerful Nutrients You’re Probably Not Getting Enough Of 🌾

Fibre does so much more than “keep you regular.” It’s a powerful nutrient that supports your gut, bowels, heart, blood sugar, and long-term health. ❤️🦠

When you eat enough fibre, you help:
✔️ Feed healthy gut bacteria & support your microbiome 🦠
✔️ Keep your bowels regular & reduce constipation 🌿
✔️ Lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol to protect heart health ❤️
✔️ Stabilise blood sugar & support steady energy ⚡
✔️ Keep you fuller for longer & support healthy weight management 🍎

A low-fibre diet has been linked to higher risks of:
⚠️ HHeart disease
⚠️ Type 2 diabetes
⚠️ Bowel disorders
⚠️ Poor gut health

🌱 Fibre-rich foods include:
🥦 Vegetables
🍎 Fruit
🌾 Whole grains
🥜 Nuts & seeds
🫘 Beans & legumes

💡 Small daily changes can make a big difference. Add more whole foods, drink enough water, and aim for variety—because a healthy gut supports a healthier body overall.

🔬 Research consistently shows higher fibre intake is associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and colorectal cancer.
