To all our valued members we are very sorry again but the pool will be closed today & tomorrow due to a few issues from the storms last night.
We apologise for any inconvenience and will be open 5am Friday as normal.

To all our valued Members we apologies the heater component has faulted. FSC is assisting us with getting this repaired asap but we do not think this will be up again till Monday. Pool is still able to be used and we apologise for any inconvenience.

It's with great sadness we remember our dear friend Di Decker OAM who passed away over the weekend.
Di was a huge advocate for the Heated Pool making sure all her government friends knew how important the pool was to our community. Di was President of the Heated Pool for a number of years and would open her home to anyone that needed help.
Di had a huge heart and an even louder voice to get any job done.
We will remember her determination and love for her community.
We pass on our Condolences to Ray, Olivia & Rodney.
You were one of a kind Di thank you for all your contributions. You will be missed 💕

We would like to thank everyone for all there positive feedback so far its great to see the pool being used by all our Member's. The pool will be closed Tuesday 25th July & Wednesday 26th July as we complete a few more installations on our to do list.

Thank you to everyone that attended our Opening day last Thursday. We were overwhelmed by the support of the community with over 80 memberships already.
Congratulations to Anne Reade who was the winner of our lucky door prize.
Over the next month the pool fit out will be completed with the inclusion of bench seats, ducting etc.
The installation of the disability hoist- thanks to Lach Haven's generous donation will be completed soon.

Please find attached Heated Pool Membership application forms. These can be returned by email with a copy of your ID and proof of payment.
Keys can be collected for the month of July from Knights Cranes at 41 Sam Street Forbes between the hours of 10am and 3pm Monday to Thursday.
At this time memberships are not available from council.
Group membership booking forms will be available next week.

Forbes Heated Pool has announced its 2023/24 Season Membership prices.

Family $460
Single $350
Pensioners $230

This will entitle you to one Membership fob and access to the pool from 5am to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
The season will commence on Thursday 6 July at the FREE OPEN DAY from 4pm - 6pm. Access will be via our New Carpark.

Our small but hardworking committee has worked tirelessly to keep the membership rates as low as possible given the rising cost of insurance and continued outgoings without any membership renewals over the last two years.

The last Heated Pool Membership renewal was in October 2019 – annual renewals were not charged in 2020 and the pool closed in May 2021. Most members received an extra four months membership for free. Any new memberships were charged pro rata. If you feel you have been disadvantaged please contact forbesheatedpool@gmail.com – please include key number/receipt of payment/date purchased.

All Members with existing Keys can transfer to a new fob at no extra cost. Any new Members will be required to pay a $20 security deposit for a Fob to access the pool.

Membership Forms will be Emailed out to all existing members in our database on the 1st July and a link will be shared on our page with a copy of Membership form.

We are excited to announce Forbes Shire Council completed the final handover of the pool to the Committee today.
We will be opening very soon and thank all our members for their patience over the past few year's. We thank the Forbes Shire Council and our local trades for the work they put in over the past few months to get this completed for winter.
We would like to make a special mention to the following people. The late Mr Ian Macallum & his associates who founded the Heated Pool and worked tirelessly to keep this facility operating. To the late Mr Andrew McDonald who brought a wealth of knowledge to the Committee a well respected member that worked hard behind the scenes with grant funding and compliance. Also the biggest voice for the committee Mrs Dianne Decker OAM. Di would not take no for an answer off anyone wanting to ensure the upgrade suited all age groups and could be used in years to come. Due to health reasons Di had to step down from her role as President but played a big role with this upgrade.
We also have a small Committee of locals that have really worked hard and spent many hours going back and forth to ensure this facility was a fresh, functional space for our community.
If the community can be patient while we complete our last few finishing touches and our opening date will be announced next week.

We are very happy to see all the Natural light and Yes the new roof!! That will no longer fall in the pool. We hope to see lots more progress over the next few weeks.

Hi All, just a reminder our AGM will be held next Wednesday 27th July at Club Forbes - 7pm.
On behalf of The Committee we would like to let all the Community & our Valued members know that we have been trying our best to get the pool open again. We have asked Forbes Shire Council to issue a media release on when the pool will be open again as this is out of our hands for now.
On a happier note we did take a sneak peak a few weeks ago and it is looking fresh and much more space.

We thank all our community & the surrounds for your patience and look forward to welcoming you back really soon.
