Are you aged between 50 & 70, show no signs or symptoms of lung cancer and have a history of smoking at least 30 packs per year? If so, you may be eligible for the FREE National Lung Cancer Screening program.

It is with great sadness that we let our patients know that Dr Greg Whittaker passed away over the weekend.

The thoughts and prayers of the management and staff of Forbes Medical Centre are with his much loved family at this heartbreaking time.

We are very excited to have four new Doctors joining us at Forbes Medical Centre. The new Doctors will start seeing patients in the coming weeks providing a much needed boost to general practice medical services in our community.

Supported by our hard working and dedicated admin team we now have a team of 9 Doctors and 4 Nurses at the Forbes Medical Centre, caring for our community.

Forbes Medical Centre can provide all your vaccination requirements, including whooping cough.

Note: The Government covers the cost of the whooping vaccine for pregnant women. Infants and school aged children are vaccinated as part of the National Immunisation schedule.

We have exciting news!!!

Forbes Medical Centre is pleased to welcome to Forbes, GP Registrars Dr Jean Liang & Dr Shane Goh.

Our two new Doctors have relocated from Western Sydney and are both excited about living and working in our community.

Also joining our team this week is Registered Nurse, Laura Salter. Laura relocated to Forbes 6 months ago, and is very much enjoying life here. She is passionate about primary healthcare and supporting the work of our GPs.
