🌸Cost?
All breast screens with BreastScreen NSW are completely FREE.

🌸what about my privacy and comfort?

All radiographers are female and will always respect your privacy and dignity. They’ll work with you to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

🌸Does it hurt?
You may feel brief discomfort while images are taken (about 10–15 seconds at a time), but you can stop at any point. Just let your radiographer know.

🌸Why is screening so important?
Breast screens can detect cancers as small as a grain of rice-long before they can be felt. Finding cancer early means more treatment options and a much better chance of successful recovery.

Regular screening saves lives. If you’ve never had a mammogram before, February is the perfect time to start 💕
