Special Interest Share: Tess and Coffee

Description:
Unleashing the Crone is a group for those who have already done much of the early work. You know you are Autistic. You have asked the initial questions. Now you are ready to sit at the fireside with others who want to go deeper into what it means to live this truth, fully and unapologetically.

This is a juicy, nourishing space for alchemizing experience through deep discussion and creative sharing. There is room for stories, poetry, songs, and treasures that sustain and enhance our power. There is also space for somatic exercise, guided meditation, and other body based loveliness so our nervous systems can settle as we go deep.

In Unleashing the Crone, we move beyond embracing Crone energy to wielding it. This is about integration rather than introduction. It is about living sustainably on our own terms with fewer f@cks to give about conventional ways of being. It is about becoming a fierce and rooted force to be reckoned with.

If you would like to submit a topic or resource for discussion please send them through.

This is a gentle space to pause, ground, and reconnect with yourself through Reiki and shamanic energy work. Niki is a certified Reiki Practitioner trained in the Shamanic Arts.

This is an accessible session - you don't need any prior experience with energy work. You can have your camera on or off, participate lying down or sitting, and take what works for you. Niki will guide the session and create space for whatever your body needs.

-Presence is participation - no requirement for cameras
-Chat communication will be read aloud
-You're welcome to join and simply soak up the energies being channeled for the group
-If you'd like Niki to focus on specific areas but aren't comfortable sharing in session, you can message or email her beforehand

Blanket, weighted pillows, or cushions for comfort
Water to stay hydrated
Whatever helps you feel safe and grounded (stuffed toy, fidget, crystals, etc.)

- How competitive is the space you're in, or want to be in?
-Does it matter that others are already doing similar work? Why, or why not?
-Where do you already notice you're different from the others in that space?

-Flyer for ASE shared at 5 mins before the end and Neurokindred other groups and projects promo

More in depth information (can stop here if TMI):
Quote: Dr Sharon Zivkovic (2024) argues “ Autistic owned and led businesses that align with the mission of the neurodiversity movement are by definition social enterprises”.

Inspired by Dr Sharon Zivkovic’s inaugural and amazing ‘Program for Autistic Innovators, Systemisers & Social Entrepreneurs’ (link below), we started this Discussion space as an addition to the developing ecosystem for supporting Autistic Social Entrepreneurs.
We welcome alumni of the course and Autistic Social Entrepreneurs at any stage on their journey.

This is a community space for sharing about our projects/businesses/innovations/products/ideas, helpful resources and our unique ways of working.

This group will be co-created and is focused on shared community learning and peer support. It will be evolving in response to the needs of the group as all Neurokindred groups do-so please think about what you need from this space and also what support you can offer to others.
We are all in this together.

I thought I’d share a little about why peer groups focused on these particular intersecting experiences are so very necessary.

Religious trauma takes place in relationship, in community, in families-usually unidentified neurodivergent families-places where betrayal cuts deep and trust in others is forever affected. As such it is ‘in relationship’ that reclaiming and healing needs to occur.

Whilst I believe therapeutic work is powerful and needed-I trully feel the corrective group/community relational experience is incredibly necessary. It certainly was and is for me.

But what can that look like, feel like, be like-how can ‘counter-conditions’ be created so maybe the possibility of connecting can occur? Can community exist without coercion, without ‘group think’, without surveillance, without obligation?

Peer groups offer the flattened power structure that can be conducive to these conditions. Facilitated space where everyone is unpacking and detangling.
A shared experience of deconstruction and reclaimation.
And memes-always relatable memes, and songs and art that help lighten and ground.

Those are some initial thoughts and I have shared more here: https://youtu.be/7khfZaK1vkY?si=XtO448vHwwjObI7_
