More Pottery 101 at Our Veteran’s Haven. The tasks for today to make a slab bowl, platter or useful item and a crazy character or animal.
The slab work came together very well with some nice bowls and platters adorned with imprinted leaves from the property. The characters were just a bit of fun.
The results was a really relaxing time working the clay and chatting away.
Well done to all who participated.

There will be another formal pottery session on Tuesday 24 March at 1300 if you want to join in the fun.

Some photos from today's official opening at the Haven and a big thanks to everyone who attended and a bigger thanks to the team who spent quite a while getting the place ready. A big thanks must go to Iain who managed to arrange some cooler weather for the opening after days where it was over 35 degrees celsius; however, I think he overdid it with the rain 😀😀😀

With our opening day fast approaching, everyone has been extremely busy even with the hot weather we have managed to get quite a bit done. The opening day is this Thursday 26 Feb 26.
