Maybe a torn ACL 🙈 maybe just a twist or a sprain…I’ll know more tomorrow. For now this is how I’m supporting my body….

ICE BLUE BLEND + FRANKINCENSE (both in starter packs)
- a bit of fractionated coconut oil in palm of hand 2 drops each. Massaging in every couple of hours.

HINOKI earthy and grounding.

Skin support: Combine with fractionated coconut oil or your fave carrier (jojoba and rosehip is lovely). To every 10ml carrier add 10-15 drops.
Great for men to apply either before or after shaving to protect and support skin.

Meditate: apply a drop to fingers and massage on temples and 3rd eye to calm and centre yourself.

Diffuse: For a calming aroma. Combine with Lavender or Roman Chamomile for restful sleep.

TEA TREE oh she’s a staple and a favourite AND she pretty much comes everywhere with me. You’ll see why….

SAVE this post for all my fave uses of my good old Tea Tree.

WOUND CLEANSING We drop Tea Tree essential oil straight on to cuts/wounds/fin chops/ulcers/coral cuts etc to cleanse. Repeat often.
WOUND SPRAY To every 10ml Fractionated Coconut Oil add 5 drops Teatree, Lavender and Frankincense. If you got this week's BOGO box you could add Magnolia or Hinoki to this blend. Spray over wound a few times a day.
NATURAL DEODORANT Simply wipe a drop of Teatree under your pits! When showering be sure to give your pits a scrub with a face washer.
MULTIPURPOSE CLEANER Add 15 drops Teatree 15 drops Rosemary (today's combo oil) to 200ml distilled water (or half and half water/vinegar). Spray then wipe. You can add a teaspoon castile soap if needed.
PIMPLES just wipe Teatree straight on.
MAKE UP BRUSH CLEANER In a 200ml foaming bottle add 2 tablespoons castile soap, 15 drops Tea tree (optional: add 15 drops Lemon essential oil). Wet brush, pump foam onto brush, lather up, rinse, pat dry and leave to dry in sun.
FOAMING HAND WASH same recipe as Make up Brush Cleaner, add 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil and 15 drops Rosemary OR Lavender or a citrus oil.

TURMERIC essential oil…free today!

Save this post for tips on using your Turmeric Essential Oil!

In our home, we love Turmeric for it's anti-inflammatory and relaxant properties so I add it to most 'injury related' blends. A fave blend of ours is:
For every 10ml carrier oil add
5 drops each:
Turmeric
Copaiba
Frankincense
Ice Blue and fill with Fractionated Coconut oil.
This blend is soothing for aches/pain/arthritic type discomfort/sprains/head aches/injuries etc
Apply with gentle massage to help with blood flow, soothing and healing.

You can use Turmeric internally for it's anti-inflammatory properties. Add a drop to a veggie cap and add a little extra virgin olive oil.
- Recently, I have been giving my boys a Turmeric Capsule (you can make one as described above) to soothe the inflammation/discomfort experience with excessive coughing/breathing issues.

Menstrual pain/discomfort
- Combine with Magnolia or Ice Blue or Clary Calm to soothe

Support easy breathing
- Blend with Easy Air and/or Eucalyptus And Fractionated coconut oil. Massage over chest/back.

Turmeric Latte
Add a drop of Turmeric essential oil to 1/2 tsp honey. 1 drop cinnamon essential oil (or powder). 1 drop ginger essential oil (or a little fresh ginger). 1 drop pink pepper essential oil (or crack of pepper). Heat up your milk of choice until just steaming, add to mug with blended oils and honey. Stir. Enjoy.

Sore tummies, ear aches and rainy beachy days was the theme of our weekend.

Save this one for later 😉 🤢 💩

Kids were at their State Nipper carnival over the weekend and with all the rain the water quality was bad 👎🏼

Soooo sure enough some of the kids got sick.

Here’s what we did to bring some relief…

Tummies:
• a couple of drops of Digestzen on tummy and rub in. You can use a little fractionated coconut oil (FCO) with it.
• a drop of oregano and on guard under ear foot, we used it neat. Dilute for children under 5.

Ears: a drop of Lavender and TeaTree AROUND (not in) ears and massage down neck. Use a little FCO with it.

Reapply every hour or so.

These oils are all from the Top 10 which:
• you need to pack every time you go away and
• is a great place to start with essential oils if you don’t have any yet!
