Please join us in welcoming Taylah, a fifth year medical student from the University of Newcastle, who will be completing a 4 week placement with Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre from Tuesday 24th February.

Taylah grew up in the Forster Tuncurry area & is excited to be returning home for her final year of medical training. She has a strong interest in general practice, particularly the opportunity to build long term relationships with patients & families within the community.

Outside of medicine, Taylah enjoys spending time at the beach, walking, Pilates & catching up with friends & family over a nice meal.

You may see Taylah involved in consultations alongside the GPs during her time with us. We are proud to support the next generation of doctors & value the role our community plays in their training.

⭐️ You guessed it - Dr Mo is returning! ⭐️

We’re very pleased to announce that Dr Mo (Muhamad Kamail) will be returning to Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre, consulting Thursdays & Fridays at 14 South Street.

Dr Mo is a highly sought after GP registrar, & we know many patients have been waiting for the opportunity to see him again. We’re delighted to welcome him back to FTMC for two days per week.

A graduate of the University of Newcastle, Dr Mo brings extensive experience from his work in acute care, general medicine, & mental health, including his role as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department at Manning Base Hospital.

Dr Mo is known for his holistic approach to care, supporting patients across both physical & mental health, & helping them work towards long-term wellbeing.

We’re excited to have Dr Mo returning to our team & to offer patients the opportunity to continue their care with him.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Bingzhi He, a Term 1 GP Registrar, to Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre.

Dr He will be consulting Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 14 South Street.

Dr He graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medical Studies / Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD) in 2021.

Since graduating, he has worked across both rural & tertiary hospital settings, including Coffs Harbour Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, & Nepean Hospital in Sydney. His clinical experience spans a wide range of disciplines, including emergency medicine, orthopaedics, adult medicine (cardiology, respiratory, renal medicine, neurology, geriatrics, & medical oncology), & psychiatry.

Dr He has clinical interests in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, & dermatology.

Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music, hiking, & spending time at the beach.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr He to our team & look forward to introducing him to our patients.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Matthew Allan, a Term 1 GP Registrar, to Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre.

Dr Allan will be consulting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday at Suite 4, 12 South Street.

Dr Allan graduated from the University of Newcastle Joint Medical Program in 2023 with a Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of Medicine (MD). He completed his internship & residency at Manning Base Hospital, gaining experience across a broad range of specialty areas including medicine, surgery, general practice, critical care, obstetrics & gynaecology, & paediatrics.

Dr Allan has strong personal, professional, & volunteer ties to the Manning Valley & is passionate about contributing to the long-term health of the local community through comprehensive primary care. His clinical interests include child & family health & palliative care.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, playing sport, & exploring the local environment.

Some of you may remember Dr Brianna Crawford from her time as a medical student with us in February 2023! She loved her time with us so much, that she’s decided to come back as a GP Registrar!

Dr Crawford is a Term 1 GP Registrar, she will be working at Suite 4, 12 South Street Tuesday - Friday!

Dr Crawford studied medicine at the University of New England & began her medical career as a junior Doctor at Manning Base Hospital. She has a broad interest across all areas of general practice, with particular interests in women’s & children’s health & palliative care.

Having recently made Forster her home, Dr Crawford enjoys the relaxed coastal lifestyle & spending time with family & friends. When she’s not working, she loves spending time outdoors with her beloved dog, Hugo, who especially enjoys a game of fetch on the beach!

We’re so excited to welcome Dr Crawford back to FTMC & look forward to introducing her to our patients.

✨ NEW GP ALERT! ✨

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Nay Lin Oo, a Term 1 GP Registrar, to Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre.

Dr Oo will be consulting at 97-99 Macintosh Street, Macintosh Medical on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

Dr Oo completed his medical training at the University of Medicine 2 in Yangon, Myanmar in 2010. He brings extensive international experience, having worked for ten years in Jamaica across emergency medicine, family practice & public health settings.

Since relocating to Australia in 2022, Dr Oo has worked as a Registrar in Emergency Medicine & is now continuing his training in General Practice.

His clinical interests include chronic disease management, preventative health, minor procedures, & the management of acute medical conditions. Dr Oo values a patient-centred approach & enjoys building strong, collaborative relationships with his patients.

Outside of work, he enjoys photography, travelling & spending time at the beach.

We are so excited to share that Dr Monica Noble is one of our five NEW GP Registrars that will be joining the team!

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Monica Noble, a Term 3 GP Registrar to Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre.

Dr Noble will be consulting Tuesday to Friday at 14 South Street.

Dr Noble completed her medical degree in the Philippines in 2018 & moved to Australia in 2021 to continue her medical career. She completed her residency training with Central Coast Local Health District, gaining broad clinical experience across multiple regional hospitals in New South Wales. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Child Health from Western Sydney University.

Prior to joining FTMC, Dr Noble provided general practice care to the communities of Scone & Murrurundi. Her clinical interests include preventative health, lifestyle medicine, child health, & geriatric care, with a focus on practical, evidence-based care across all stages of life.

Outside of work, Dr Noble enjoys travelling, spending time in the kitchen, & discovering great food spots wherever she goes.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Noble to our team & look forward to introducing her to our patients.
