Full Moon Tarot & Divination

Full Moon Tarot & Divination This page is just my small little space to explore Tarot and divination. My name is Tara and I have been studying and reading the tarot for almost half my life.

I endeavor to provide honest and compassionate readings for anyone who wants to know the truth about their place in this life. I offer affordable, in-depth readings that aren't "charged by the minute" ~ you will get the reading you need not necessarily the reading you may want. While I am honest and ethical, I won't lie and feed you a fairytale ~ that would only serve to hurt you in the end.

Card of the Day ~ Two of Bats {Halloween Tarot} It’s time to make a decision, and no one and nothing is going to make it for you. I know sometimes it is super easy to say “I’ll let fate give me a sign” or some such thing, and sometimes the Universe intercedes…this is not one of those times darling. There is definite tension here, we can see it in the posture of the person sitting on the block. Not in the cat because those guys are always pleasing themselves. This tension, the situation causing it, is calling for a compromise or balanced of some sort that is proving difficult to see. The blindfold isn’t helping ~ in the Tarot, blindfolds typically tend to symbolise not being able to see, not seeing the complete picture, but also can denote that this blindness is perpetrated by you, not to you. Take a minute to see if there is anything you’re not willing to look at because it may be unpleasant or uncomfortable. Nothing happens if nothing happens, and you can’t make a move until you look at the situation in it’s entirety. If you’re not wiling to do that, I certainly hope you enjoy inertia. The arms over the chest symbolise defensiveness, an unwillingness to be vulnerable ~ you’ve got to move those hands (be vulnerable) in order to take off the blindfold (see everything you need to see) in order to move forward and make your decision.

Card of the Day ~ Seven of Pumpkins {Halloween Tarot} Here we see material progress and gain. You’ve been chugging along at this for a while now (this is a Seven card after all, and suits go to Ten) so take a minute to look at everything you have achieved so far. You don’t have to be at the end of something to appreciate it. Look at your awesomeness now! Usually with the Seven of Pumpkins (traditionally Pentacles) we are seeing some kind of change in direction or energy with something that you have been working on. You’ve had success with your original plan and work, which has brought some new alternatives to the table. The Seven of Pumpkins is about taking a minute for re-evaluation ~ it’s time to rest and reset. Revisit your original goals and purpose ~ do those still stand? Have your ambitions stretched beyond what you originally hoped for? Has there been a change of direction coming for you? Great, awesome, explore it! We don’t always have to be tied to our original goals and plans ~ the purpose of travelling along pathways is to open up other ones sometimes, and this is one such moment. Take a minute, see where you want to go.

Card of the Day ~ The Emperor {Halloween Tarot} I low key love that Frankenstein’s Monster was the creature chosen for this particular. Think about it ~ The Monster is created by Dr Frankenstein and promptly discarded right after his “birth”, left alone in a world where, as an outcast, he is forced to learn the rules and laws of society. The biggest reason I think Frankenstein’s Monster works in the Emperor card is because the Emperor is a card concerned with authority, leadership, and most importantly ~ taking responsibility for one’s actions and facing the consequences. The Monster proves himself to be an intelligent being capable of understanding language, philosophy, the laws of man, educating himself on a variety of topics through observing the De Lacey family. He does however, also show the dark side of authority and power when he commits a wee bit of murder in revenge and goes on a rampage, using his physical power and lack of control to disastrous and deadly effect. The Emperor represents structure, authority, social norms & codes. Society can be (and is) a constrictive box where we are made to conform or be expelled/made uncomfortable. I take the Emperor as being an invitation to take authority over yourself, to stand up in your own power and be seen as an authority in a subject, skill or trade that you are really passionate about. It’s time to gift yourself the confidence to steer, direct and create structures that work for YOU. Often during this process, you will be confronting difficult power dynamics, feelings of powerlessness, complicity in oppressive structures your own use of power, that kind of thing. It’s time to build some solid new foundations for yourself, and most importantly, some boundaries baby! Boundaries help keep the bu****it at bay while giving you space to do what you need to do. Step into this exciting but scary space not asking “Who am I to be doing this” but instead, “Who am I not to?”

Card of the Day ~ Four of Ghosts {Halloween Tarot} This is a card of weariness, apathy, being tired. We all have those moments where motivation evaporates and we feel like a husk of a human. It can be really hard to recognise the good and kindness of others. There’s a numbness to the Four of Ghosts, a desensitisation that can be so heavy. Sometimes we just get stuck. There may not even be a practical reason (it’s a Ghosts/Cups card so likely it isn’t practical) but there is an emotional inertia here that makes it difficult to get excited about things. The Four of Cups is your witness for this moment, acknowledging these feelings but also giving you an offering ~ all you need to do is turn your head and look somewhere new to see it. Will you? There is a choice here ~ stay in this arid space or adopt an attitude of curiosity and try something new.

Card of the Day ~ The Sun {Halloween Tarot} OMG how gloriously cute is this Sun card??!?!?!?! Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh. The Sun is a card that is almost always welcome in a Tarot reading. It is a card of happiness, success, good health, exuberance, simple and plentiful pleasures. There is such joy here! Everything is bright and in alignment and working and amazing. The answer is YES. So yes, do the thing, go forth and be deliriously happy. Things are going your way, capitalise on it! The Sun reminds us to connect with the simple joys in life ~ think dressing for comfort, eating toast with peanut butter, talking to the bird army your husband created and pretending they’re answering you back, reading a cosy book, baking some scones….you get the gist. You have nothing to prove here, you just have to be. Say yes and say thank you. Feel re-energised and refreshed after the deep work of the Moon card that comes before this.

Card of the Day ~ The Chariot {Halloween Tarot} Another smiling Major! Look at that Pumpkin face! The Chariot is a card of direction, strength of will, purpose and focus ~ this is the card that says “Oh yes I can, and I bloody well will” The Chariot sees you literally in the driver’s seat of your life, not only choosing a direction but putting your energy and resources towards moving that way. While there is some luck involved (this is the lucky number 7 after all!) this new direction is a result of you coming into yourself and realising there’s a new place for you to be ~ and that can be physically or metaphorically. This isn’t just movement ~ this is also success, triumph, greatness. Your self discipline and strength of character are leading the way here. You know where you want to go and you’re throwing your weight behind that goal. The Chariot is also about achievement and hard work leading to recognition. It’s not just landing at a place of success, it’s about the challenges, rejections, failures, the conscious decision to move forward and harness that passionate energy & intent. There is so much you can accomplish under your own stream if you can find the strength and clarity to focus. It reminds you of your courage and strength, as the road to success is not always easy. This is a no bu****it card ~ your goal is within reach if you focus, work hard, fight your way through the challenges and believe in your magnificent self.
