Imagine a fairy lit attic space in a charming indie bookstore with a cosy corner down the end of a block of bookshelves. There you find an affirming, welcoming safe space calling you to get your cards read by a super cool lady who has been tossing cards for nearly three decades. Which is pretty magical as she’s barely a day over 25….

Readings are $20 per 15 minutes, with the reading length determined by you and what you need.

Card of the Day ~ Ace of Wands {Guardian of the Night Tarot, created by MJ Cullinane} This card reminds me of the glorious Golden Orb spider we had at the house last year, who we dubbed Lady Violet. I used to say goodbye to her when I was leaving for work and hello when I came back home, and my husband would check on her throughout the day. Aces are new cycles, new paths and new potential opening up for you. The nature of what’s coming through depends not he suit, and here in the Wands suit, we have exciting, creative spark kind of beginnings, finding something to get excited about and needing to act on it. The Ace of Wands is not a “Let me think about it” kind of card, it is asking you to take some action and often, take a chance. This is a time to explore possibilities, get creative and let out of the box ideas & solutions come your way. Because this is Wands, there is going to be some courage needed to match the excitement and passion. It’s not so much a time for second guessing as it is a time for trusting your gut and taking a leap. A new foundation for success is being laid out here, and it’s exciting, taking you in a new direction, or at least, a little off the track you thought you had planned for yourself.

Card of the Day ~ The World {Guardian of the Night Tarot, created by MJ Cullinane} The World card is the last card of the Major Arcana in the Tarot, symbolising the end of an incredibly important and potent journey in your life. You’re exhilarated and exhausted all at once. The World is an energy of completion and satisfaction, this cycle in your life has ended on a positive note with sides of victory and joy. You don’t have to get on the next train to Awesome-ville just yet; the World does encourage you to take a beat and recuperate. One of the best messages of the World card is that it’s time to be true to yourself, to live your authentic life. This is about wholeness and completion, of self actualisation. It’s time for you to become who you really want to be ~ it’s already inside you, you’ve spent this past while journeying to a point where you can step into it. Think about what completion looks like to you, how it will feel for you, and what you will do with this new self.

This Saturday!!

I will be giving in-person Ogham castings at the divine Wonderland Bookshop & Emporium. Ogham is the ancient Irish alphabet of the trees, and is a beautiful, spiritual and grounded divination medium. Ogham offers a different type of reading to the Tarot, and is something I have grown to love and treasure very much.

As this is a relatively new skillet for me, Ogham castings are being offered at the introductory price of only $50 for a casting, which takes approximately one hour.

In-person readings will be happening this Saturday at the sublime Wonderland Bookshop & Emporium from 10am - 4pm. I will be getting down and funky with my treasured Tarot Cards, Witch’s Runes and Crone Stones in the lovely fairy light covered attic space at Wonderland in Redcliffe.

Readings are only $20 per 15 minutes, and you can tailor you’re reading to your needs. After a quick Yes/No confirmation reading? 15 minutes is the go. Need some more detail then that? 30-45 minutes is the right fit. Looking for something deeper? 60-90 minutes is the soul refresher you’re looking for.

Card of the Day ~ Four of Cups {Guardian of the Night Tarot, created by MJ Cullinane} with the Four of Cups, you may be getting defensive, and this is being driven by your emotional state. You could be afraid of exposing your feelings, or being vulnerable, possibly a fear of being exposed in some way, which is causing the curl up like a ball effect. You may be feeling the need to self isolate, go within. You may be feeling like you only have the energy or desire to focus on your own needs. If you use this time wisely you can discover a new perspective that will help you get out of your funk. If you use it to escape reality, nothing is going to change. It’s up to you.

Card of the Day ~ The Star {Guardian of the Night Tarot, created by MJ Cullinane} The Star comes right after the tumultuous, world turning upside down energy of the Tower, so it is all about finding yourself again, regaining your peace. While it is not the most dynamic energy, there is power and protection here. I often see The Star as a sign that your ancestors/guides are with you. This card is about transitioning to a new state of hope and grace after going through an absolute s**t time. There is a quiet confidence building here that you are as strong and resilient as you need to be. That you can build back up. That you can get through anything. Anyone who has had a reading with me and gotten a card with a stag or deer knows how much I love these animals ~ they are magnificent, a potent creator of space, holder of courage to help you push forwards. The Star isn’t about easy answers, but it is about getting us back on to our path with renewed hope and healing, navigating home to yourself. It’s a powerful shift in energy.
