No behaviour strategy is going to work unless we as parents and teachers are regulated first. Its hard to be regulated when we have a child in distress. I spend a lot of time in PDs normalising childrens behaviour with humour and stories with the aim of reducing painic for parent and teachers who are witnessing big emotions. Big emotions can be hard to understand and its hard to know what to do, if your regulated, then there is space to be curious. When we are curious, there is more of a chance we might figure it out.
