Are you feeling unsure about what the new aged care changes mean for you or someone you support?

With the introduction of the Support at Home program, many families and healthcare professionals are navigating updated funding, new service categories, and different contribution structures. While some parts of the system remain familiar, understanding what’s changed can make the transition much smoother.

In this blog, we break down what’s stayed the same, what’s different, and how these updates may affect access to in-home care and support services.

Because knowing how the system works helps ensure older Australians receive the right care to stay safe, supported, and independent at home.

Have you noticed small changes that just don’t feel quite right?

Perhaps it’s pausing a little longer before the stairs, repeating questions more often, unpaid bills piling up, or withdrawing from favourite activities. These moments may seem small, but they can be early signs that a little extra support could make a big difference.

In this blog, we outline the physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental signs to look out for, and explain what to do next if something feels familiar.

Because recognising the signs early can help you or your loved one stay safe, independent, and confident at home.
