A few weeks ago, Roslyn from the Habby Hub program, gave us a sneak peek into something very special… and now we’re excited to share the finished result of our Upcycled Quilt Project!

Over six consecutive Wednesdays, our talented group of sewing enthusiasts came together to create something truly meaningful. Throughout the process, they:
• Cut over 100 different-sized fabric squares
• Used offcuts to promote sustainability, reduce wastage and creating a cost effective project
• Designed thoughtful quilt layouts
• Practised using sewing machines with support
• Visited our local spotlight store to choose the perfect fleece backing

This project was a wonderful reminder that good things take time. Every step was filled with creativity, collaboration, and care.
Now, each participant takes home a beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilt, a personal keepsake made with pride and purpose.

A huge well done to everyone involved. We’re so proud of what you’ve achieved!

A happy customer thanking Bill for his ongoing support by delivering meals every Thursday. Bill always takes a few extra minutes to stop and chat with our Meals on Wheels customers, bringing a smile to their face and reminding them they are cared for and valued. 💙

Volunteers like Bill are the heart of our program, not only delivering nutritious meals but also providing friendship, connection, and kindness that brighten the day for so many in our community.

We’re so grateful for Bill and all of our dedicated volunteers who go above and beyond each week.

If you’d like to make a difference in someone’s life, why not join our Meals on Wheels volunteer team? Even a small amount of your time can have a big impact.

Our Friday Creative Arts group came together to create firework-inspired art using just paint, paper, and… paper rolls! Yes, you read that right, a little imagination and a humble cardboard tube can go a long way.

It was such a joy to see everyone dive into the colors, get a little messy, and express their inner firework in vibrant bursts. The results? unique, and full of heart.
Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a fun and friendly place to create, you're always welcome here.

🌵 Mexican & Margs Social Night! 🍹🎉- PART 1

This Saturday, we turned up the heat with a Mexican & Margaritas fiesta and what a night it was!
From hand-painted margarita glasses to friendly (and slightly competitive) games like cactus ring toss and drink pong, the energy was unbeatable. 🎨🏓🌵
We danced the night away at our disco party and kept spirits high with great tunes and even better vibes! 💃🕺

Of course, no fiesta is complete without the food! We indulged in some of Mexico’s finest, think loaded tacos, hearty burritos, and delicious chocolate churros that disappeared way too fast. 🌮🌯🍫

Huge thanks to everyone who came and made the night so special. We can’t wait to do it all again, stay tuned for our next Saturday night event! 🎊

On Wednesday, we were lucky to welcome two very special guests from Victoria Police , Neil and Ali.
It was an absolute pleasure hosting you both. Our participants had a fantastic time trying on police gear, sitting in the police car, and even activating the sirens and flashing red and blue lights. The excitement and joy are clear in the photos.

At C2A, we deeply value our community connections, and having the opportunity to host two dedicated officers was a privilege. Both C2A and Victoria Police play vital roles in supporting our communities, and it was great to come together in such a positive and engaging way.
We truly appreciate the important work you do every day to keep our community safe.
From all of us at C2A, thank you, Neil and Ali, for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit. Your presence made a real impact, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon.

✨ Red Nose Day – Raising awareness and vital funds to help end childhood deaths and support grieving families.

We’d love for you to pick a cause that speaks to you, show your support, and help us raise awareness 💜🤍❤️

Habby Hub Quilt Project – Sneak Peek!
On Wednesday’s, our talented Habby Hub group has been hard at work on a very special project, creating their very own unique patchwork quilts!
With a strong focus on sustainability, our participants have been using scrap fabrics to reduce waste while letting their creativity shine. Each person has been supported to choose from a variety of colours and patterns, cut their fabrics into fun shapes, and thoughtfully lay out their designs.
With guidance and support from our dedicated staff, many participants have also had the opportunity to operate the sewing machine, helping bring their patchwork visions to life!
Here’s a sneak peek from Roslyn showing off our progress so far and we can’t wait to share the final quilts with you soon. These beautiful creations will be something for each participant to take home and cherish forever.

Stay tuned for more updates and a big well done to everyone involved!
