🐝🍯 Buzzing with excitement from today’s adventure!
Marie’s 1:1 Adventure saw us teaming up with the Urban Adventure crew for a sweet day out at Pure Peninsula Honey-and what an unforgettable experience it was!

From learning all about the fascinating bee hierarchy 👑 (Queen Bee, stingless Drone males, and hardworking Worker bees) to exploring the Brood Box where all the magic happens, the group got a real behind-the-scenes look at hive life.

✨ Highlights of the day:
🍯 Taste-testing a variety of delicious honeys-Eucalyptus and Orange Blossom were clear favourites!
🕯️ Getting hands-on with beeswax candle making
🐕 Meeting Koda the farm dog, who made sure everyone got plenty of pats and attention

The bus ride home was full of smiles and stories-safe to say this bee adventure was a hit! 🐝💛

The Urban Adventures group had the best time visiting Myuna Farm 🐑🌿
it was so rewarding to get out and enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and all the beautiful animals. From feeding and patting to exploring the grounds, there were smiles all around!

Outings like this are such a great way to build confidence, social skills, and create meaningful experiences together.

At C2A our beautiful client Steph gets supported to explore the community at a 1:1 ratio.

We get to sit down with Steph and create a timeline that promotes choice, empowerment and community inclusion. Stephanie gets to pick activities that are of interest to her so we can have a day of fun all while kicking her goals of learning how to use public transport!

From the movies, arcade, the farm and so much more our 1:1 community support is all about building confidence, independence, and meaningful connections in her everyday life. Whether it’s exploring new interests, getting involved in the community, or simply having someone there who understands and supports her journey — we’re here every step of the way.

Because support isn’t just about assistance, it’s about creating opportunities, celebrating achievements (big and small), and making sure no one feels alone 💫

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic participants to join our Retail Skills Program at the C2A Op Shop in Mount Eliza—and the best part? No experience needed!

We provide full on-the-job training in a supportive, welcoming environment 💙

✨ What you’ll learn:
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Using the register & building money-handling skills
• Processing donations
• Supporting day-to-day shop operations

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

🤝 Make new friends
📈 Develop real work skills
💬 Be part of a positive, supportive community

📅 Available Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays

Damien has been absolutely loving his 1:1 in-home support lately! 🌊

He’s been getting out and about, enjoying relaxing walks along the beach, taking in the fresh sea air and beautiful views. These outings have been a great way for Damien to stay active, unwind, and enjoy some peaceful time outdoors.

It’s wonderful to see him so happy and engaged while building confidence and independence in the community. Keep up the great work, Damien! 👣💙

Violette is a valued member of the C2A community and brings so much joy wherever she goes. She participates in a variety of programs, including bowling, Habby Hub, sensory cooking, swimming, and more!

What truly makes Violette special is her beautiful smile and the way she brightens every room she enters. Her cheerful nature and kind spirit have a way of lifting everyone around her, making each day a little bit brighter.
