TheField.jobs is a disability-inclusive job site that actively connects people with disability with jobs from inclusive employers.

They have created a series of virtual job readiness webinars to guide you through creating a job seeker profile.

The sessions will include tips and tricks to give you the confidence to showcase your skills to potential employers and provide a safe space to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in discussions.

Positions available: Disability Support Worker

There are currently new job opportunities in Gippsland, Victoria

Seeking multiple Disability Support Workers in the Gippsland, VIC area, specifically Morwell and surrounds

Attributes: Self-motivated, trustworthy, dependent, punctual, professional and caring

What’s required: unrestricted drivers licence, own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, an ABN, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance, experience with disability or aged care, and the ability to have flexible availability for rosters.

Desired: First Aid certificate, any certificates in Disability, Nursing or related health-care fields with transferable skills.

Grevillea Care puts NDIS participants in control of their life and at the centre of their care through dynamic and flexible support coordination and self-empowerment.

Do you have a passion for helping others and natural interpersonal skills? Are you a good listener, a naturally understanding person and able to empower and encourage people with reaching their goals of being independent, empowered and living a life on their terms?

Disability Support work is a dynamic and rewarding career. The role will consist of home support, self-care assistance, community access, social and recreational activities, coordination of supports, assistance with appointment attendance, household cleaning and other household chores; emotional, mental and physical assistance.

Training will be provided for all people in new Disability Support Roles. Immediate start available.
