Isn't the little black fluffy fella in the picture a cutie? Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, or so you'd think. He is lovely, a beautiful dog, but ever since a pup he has been go go go, barking at other dogs, over-exciteable, and a bit of a handful.

I said hello, met him, and immediately started helping him learn how to regulate with relaxing touch. His body very quickly started to show obvious relaxation signs, but it took quite a little while for his mind to catch up. Lots of wriggles!

Both the dogs were fine physically. This was purely a lack of ability to self soothe and regulate. We saw massive improvements in the session (as we usually do), and they are off home to practice every day, and then revisit in a month.
