We’re solar-powered. Not just by the sun, but by people who carry light. Be one of them.

There’s a key difference between getting what you want and receiving what you need.

What you want is usually based on your current understanding of what will make you happy, fix your problems, or improve your life. But what you need often challenges that understanding. It stretches you, confronts you, and transforms you, so that you become the person who can create lasting joy, solve deeper problems, and live at a higher level.

When you pray for something from your current state of consciousness, the Universe often responds by sending you exactly what you need to evolve beyond it. And that rarely looks, or feels, like what you imagined.

The prayers that get answered in uncomfortable ways are actually invitations. The love you asked for requires you to be more vulnerable than you’ve ever been. The success you envisioned demands more discipline than you’ve ever shown. The peace you longed for only comes after you’ve faced the chaos you’ve been avoiding.

Growth hurts because it’s the process of becoming bigger than who you were. The version of you that can hold the life you prayed for is not the same version who prayed for it. Becoming that person means walking through the very challenges that now feel overwhelming.

Understanding this can change your relationship with difficulty. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” you begin to ask, “How is this growing me?” Instead of resisting the stretch, you lean into it with curiosity and courage. Instead of interpreting your struggles as signs that your prayers went unheard, you begin to see them as signs that they were, and that you’re being prepared for something bigger than you imagined.

Your prayers are being answered. But the Universe, in its wisdom, isn’t just giving you what you asked for. It’s giving you what you need to become ready to receive it, hold it, and sustain it.

I’m facilitating a Weaving with Nature Worksop @ Oak Hill Gallery in Morningtob on Sunday 8th March
Here’s some info about it….
Alongside her ephemeral exhibition, artist Katie McLorinan invites you to a calming, hands-on weaving workshop where you can slow down, reconnect with nature and create something beautiful. In this relaxed 3‑hour session you’ll learn simple weaving techniques and craft your own unique wall hanging using twine, plant fibres, flowers, foliage, leaves, sticks, branches and other found natural materials. Beginners are warmly welcomed, with plenty of guidance and space to explore your own style. Expect gentle technique introductions, creative time with natural textures, a supportive group environment, and a finished woven artwork to take home.

HOLDING LEGS UP ON THE WALL FOR 5 MINS A DAY
Is a powerful restorative pose that gives our body a break from gravity especially if you're on your feet most of the time, have bad posture, or sit all day.

And also self care ❤️🥰

And also self care ❤️🥰

We do not need to always depend on others to reassure or validate us. We can also do that for ourselves. This is how we start to build confidence and feel more secure in ourselves. This type of self-talk is also how we can quiet our inner self-critic.

When you choose to accept and validate yourself, your brain registers that you are safe and capable. Over time, this builds confidence because you’ve created a habit of treating yourself with respect and kindness. It’s like telling yourself every day, “I’m worthy, I’m capable,” and your brain listens, slowly reshaping your self-view. This simple act is powerful because it can help you face challenges with more resilience and trust in yourself.

Self-validation is a powerful tool to ease anxiety, doubt, and self-criticism. But it’s important to balance it with accountability to avoid excusing behavior that might not be in our best interest or aligned with our values. To monitor this balance, start by asking yourself two questions: Am I validating my experience while also considering how my actions or choices impact others around me?

Take care of your mind and body. Love, Nawal ♥️

We think success is what people can see. But real success is what happens underground: healing fear, choosing self-belief, setting boundaries, and trying anyway. 🌱

Growth isn’t loud. It’s rooted.
