To kick off our practitioner spotlights for Osteopathy Awareness Month, we’re starting with the heart of Osteopathy Connections—our Clinical Director, Lauren.

With over 25 years in the field, Lauren’s enthusiasm for her work only grows every day. While she loves the "puzzle" of helping every patient understand their own body, her absolute joy zone is supporting mums and babies through those first six months of breastfeeding.

Lauren’s goal is simple: to ensure you leave every consultation with a deeper understanding of your health. She is passionate about providing you with practical takeaways to help you move toward your health goals.

Whether she’s mentoring our team or in the treatment room, Lauren’s focus is always on providing holistic, compassionate care.

Huge thanks to Dr Jeff Kestenberg at Coburg Dental Group for sharing his insight, knowledge and clinical experience so openly and warmly with our clinic director Dr Lauren Boundy (Osteo) recently.

It was a pleasure to watch an experienced clinician and his team support a variety of infants with feeding and oral-motor challenges via frenectomy.

We discussed many elements of care, including the post-operative support for feeding and rehabilitation patients require; the importance of monitoring wound healing, and the impact of tethered oral tissues across the age groups we see.
Such a valuable day of learning!

This essential learning helps us to continue to offer confident referral options for our patients.
