Our "Mothers in May" celebration is wrapping up soon! We’ve loved handing out our self-care kits over the last few weeks as a small token of our appreciation for everything the mums and carers in our community do. 🤍

We still have a handful of packs available at reception, so if you are visiting the clinic over the coming days, please don't forget to grab yours on your way out.

Wishing you all a restful remainder of the week.

Meet Sally: Decades of Experience and a Heart for the Yarra Valley! 🌿
Our final spotlight features Sally, a highly experienced Osteopath who has been supporting the Victorian community since graduating in 2004. With over 20 years of clinical practice and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Infant and Neonatal Manual Therapy, Sally brings a deep level of knowledge to our team.

Sally is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love. Her clinical interests are diverse, including:

📖Early Childhood & Infancy: Supporting babies with postural concerns, stiffness, and movement asymmetries (such as plagiocephaly or torticollis).

📖Family Health: Assisting mums through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, as well as children dealing with growing pains or posture.

📖Complex Support: Sally has a strong interest in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and providing musculoskeletal support for infants and toddlers navigating feeding challenges or tongue-tie management.

📖Holistic Techniques: She often incorporates Craniosacral therapy and breathing education into her patient management.

Having grown up on a farm and now raising her own two children, Sally balances her clinical life with a love for gardening, books, and music. She loves the "puzzle" of osteopathy and looks forward to supporting you and your family!

Meet Bridie: A Holistic Approach to Family Wellbeing! 🌿
We are so pleased to spotlight Bridie, an Osteopath who is deeply passionate about the holistic nature of healthcare. Bridie enjoys supporting patients of all ages, but she has a clinical focus on women’s health and paediatrics.

Bridie’s academic background is impressive—she completed her Masters research specifically on the osteopathic management of period pain. Her commitment to learning didn't stop there; she has also undertaken further studies in obstetrics and paediatric care.

Bridie’s areas of interest include:

✨Mothers & Infants: Bridie finds it incredibly rewarding to help mums and babies navigate the physical challenges of the early years.

✨Mastitis Management: She has completed specific training in the conservative management and musculoskeletal support of mastitis.

✨Women's Health: From pelvic health to pregnancy support, Bridie focuses on empowering women through every life stage.

As a mother of two, Bridie understands first-hand the physical demands of parenthood. This personal experience, combined with her clinical expertise, allows her to provide compassionate, practical care for families navigating the hurdles of feeding and early development.

Meet Justin: 20 Years of Experience (and a Love for Octopuses! 🐙)

We’re thrilled to spotlight one of our senior practitioners, Justin! With over 20 years of experience in paediatric osteopathy and five children of his own, Justin has a deep understanding of the whole-family approach to health.

Justin has pursued extensive further training in areas like Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy and Integrative Breathing Therapy to better support his young patients.
When he’s not in the clinic, he might be sharing a fascinating fact about the octopus: Did you know they have three hearts, with the main one stopping while they swim; and 9 nervous systems, including one for each arm that allows each one to taste, touch, and move independently without direct input from the central brain?

Justin’s interest in how complex systems connect is at the core of his approach to patient care and education.
