I don’t often post the sense of achievement I get from working with athletes, but please let me introduce to a client of mine Tamara Lee Caspersz who I have been working with during her very gruelling training schedule.
Tamara has more injuries than I have in my client list, yet never faulters in her dedication to hard work and self care to continue her passion.
Not only should we all take a leaf out of Tamara’s book that anything is possible with hard work and dedication, but even the people who don’t understand the love of horse riding have to witness the connection and outstanding horsemanship in this video of a recent competition that earned Tamara first place.
Whilst many of you may not have had experience with these large animals and the people that ride them this video screams commitment to encourage this particular animal who has faltered at times in doing what he was trained to do for many many others.
Irrespective of being considered a hard task, Tamara has worked tirelessly to encourage him to be his best self, when he shys away from a challenge or throws her to the ground she gets back up and provides consistency for this horse.
You can see this with his ears pricked he is engaged in what he nows and loves thanks to Tamara’s feerless dedication to this animal.
Congratulations Tamara for your very well earned win on the weekend, you should be extremely proud of what you have achieved, personally, professionally and the confidence you have gained in this horse.
I feel extremely honoured to be trusted to work with Tamara in her unwavered commitment to following her passion and not letting limitations get in the way. Your an inspiration !
