Hello from Jenna & Ryan at Northern Response Training!
First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to Karren at Vital Training for the trust, support, and incredible legacy they've built in this space. It’s clear just how much dedication and care went into creating a training community that truly makes a difference—and we are honoured to carry that forward. 💙
We are absolutely thrilled to step into this new chapter as the team behind Northern Response Training. With a shared passion for empowering individuals and workplaces through quality safety education, our mission is to continue delivering the same high standard of training you've come to expect.
Between us, we bring years of experience across First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Workplace Health & Safety, Sharps Handling, emergency management and more. Our goal is simple: to create training experiences that are engaging, practical, and genuinely useful in the moments that matter most.
But what makes this transition even more special is knowing that Karren isn’t going far. Her support means the world to us, and we’re grateful to have her guidance as we settle in and look ahead.
We can’t wait to connect with all of you, your businesses, teams, and individuals who’ve made this community so vibrant. Here's to learning, growing, and responding with confidence together.

🌟 A Big Thank You & An Exciting New Chapter 🌟

After such an incredible journey providing first aid training, the time has come for me to move on to a new venture. I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you – it has truly been a privilege to work with so many amazing people, businesses and communities. 💙

The good news is… this isn’t goodbye! This page will soon become Northern Response Training, where the wonderful Jenna and Ryan will be taking over. They are passionate, experienced, and ready to continue providing the same quality training and care that you’ve come to know.

And don’t worry – I’m not just “handing it over and walking away.” I’ll be here to support Jenna and Ryan for as long as they need, to make sure the transition is smooth and that you continue to receive the very best service.

Along with First Aid, they also offer a huge range of courses including:

Virgin Australia and Adelaide Airport have launched an Australian-first accessibility program. ✈️

The 'Try Before You Buy' program is the first of its kind in Australia, offering a fully simulated travel experience.

Participants can book, check-in, board and sit on an aircraft - without the plane ever leaving the gate.

The initiative is designed to reduce anxiety and build confidence for individuals who may find flying challenging, including those with disabilities or sensory sensitivities.

Reason for Recall
The recall impacts HeartSine AED units with serial numbers beginning with prefixes 21, 22, 23, and 24. Customers can easily verify if their device is affected by using Stryker’s online serial number checker:

Customer Instructions
Continue to Use: Customers should keep their current HeartSine AEDs in service until replacement units are provided.
Replacement Process: Stryker will issue replacement HeartSine AEDs to customers when new units become available, anticipated in Q4 2025.
