For those of you who’ve recently come aboard, hi and welcome. Let me introduce myself.
I’m Elliot. A guy that spent years struggling with stress and anxiety, before learning a technique and practice that’s done for 20 minutes, twice per day called Vedic Meditation.
It was taught to me over four, 90 minute sessions, spread over 4 consecutive days.
Some of the benefits came instantly, a few more in the weeks after learning and they’ve just kept on coming as the years unfold.
After only a few months of learning to meditate, I felt a strong drive and sense of clarity that I’d like to teach this technique and share it with others like myself looking for a simple, sustainable way to feel good.
So after a few years of prep and study, off I went to India for 3 months to train with the master of Vedic Meditation, Thom Knoles. The preparation to teach this technique was rigorous and thorough and for the middle month, we were meditating for 14 hours each day.
I now have the great pleasure of sharing something so simple and accessible with humans that have been looking for something, sometimes for their whole lives.
It’s a special exchange and part of it is that I keep in touch and support each student with their practice as the years go on. Before you know it there is a community of people that come from every different walk of life that now share a daily practice and a connection with their inner self that runs deep. An unchanging, unshakable inner self that re-informs the intellectual layer with a knowingness and stability that does not dissipate when you open your eyes, it stays.
Right beside me, I have an amazing wife Ella who also learnt Vedic Meditation and is just as passionate about it as I am. We run things here together and she makes everything tick behind the scenes.
