Self-taught artist, who has been actively practicing for over 20 years. Free from feeling bound by a signature style she enjoys the exploration of collating different media to produce one-off pieces from intricate whimsical ink sketches to large abstracts and eclectic collages. As well as interest in sculpture, nature, poetry, and repurposing, one of her main objectives is to use art to share stories and ideas, encouraging others to reconnect and heal. As a certified Art Therapist, and passion for holistic and conscious living, Kate regularly hosts large private events and workshops, as well as working with one-on-one clients. These workshops range from fun sip'n'paint style celebrations and team building, after school and homeschooling groups to deep transformational and energy healing work. She believes that majick can be found in the art of creating, and that often the catalyst for change is not reliant on the outcome, but rather the awareness of the process. You can find her and her good friend Emily Campbell Curating Connection through Creativity at their shared studio ‘Wild Gypsy’ in Hilton.
