How important is a purposeful job?

At APM, we see every day how meaningful work can transform lives - especially for people who face barriers like disability, long-term unemployment, or mental health challenges.

Take Eleanor, one of our incredible team members at APM Employment Services.

Her work supporting Gary, a client who had lost confidence and direction, led to a life-changing moment: helping him reconnect with his strengths, secure a job he loved, and rediscover his belief in himself.

For employers, hiring people with disability is easier than you think - and the rewards are immense.

With the right support, you gain loyal, capable team members and help build a more inclusive workforce.

For those considering a career in employment services: this is your chance to make a real difference.

Every conversation, every appointment, every success story matters.

“When people couldn’t tell us apart, we’d have a bit of fun with it — they’d talk to me like I was the deaf one, and I’d just go along with it.”

In our latest podcast episode with Aussie Paralympic legend Ellie Cole, Fran shares what it was like growing up with her brother Peter, who was born profoundly deaf.

From learning sign language during school holidays to creating their own way of communicating, Fran opens up to Ellie on how disability is part of everyday life and that inclusion starts at home.

It’s the latest in our series of podcasts around disability inclusion called Ellie Cole’s Couch.

Ever experienced Blind Football in action?

It’s fast, tactical, and incredibly inspiring.

We were thrilled to celebrate the 2025 season launch of the Perth SC Blind Football team with the unveiling of their brand-new kits.

Blind Football is a modified version of 5-a-side soccer, played by athletes who are blind or vision-impaired.

With an audible ball, side kickboards, and specially trained coaches, it’s a game of skill, trust, and teamwork - and it’s growing fast in Australia.

The squad recently launched their new season with their annual round robin tournament with their sponsors.

And the PSC Blind Futsal WA State Team extended their undefeated streak - four years strong!

As proud sponsors, APM is committed to supporting inclusive sport and helping build opportunities for all Australians to participate.

Our sponsorship helps cover coaching, equipment, uniforms, and registration — making sure no one is left on the sidelines.

Big thanks to our fellow sponsors GRA Partners and MATES in Construction for joining us in action and backing this incredible initiative.
