Today is Aus Arts Day, a celebration of creativity and the vibrant arts that bring our communities to life. Many of you know I work with a wonderful organisation, Circus WA , where I pour my heart into teaching aerial silks, lyra, and sometimes the tiniest circus stars in our kids’ classes! 🎪💫
Circus WA is truly a home for so many — a place where people of all ages can explore movement, courage, and self-expression. But right now, we need your help to keep this beautiful space alive and thriving.
Even a small donation can make a big difference in helping us maintain our physical home, continue offering inspiring adult classes, youth programs, and incredible shows.
If you love the arts and believe in the joy circus brings to Fremantle, please click the link below and donate a little piece of happiness today 🩷
Thank you for supporting what keeps our community flying high!

Benefits of Aerial Yoga
Remember visiting the circus and watching the trapeze artistes with awe? Well, a visit to any aerial yoga studio is bound to bring back those memories. However, aerial yoga is much more than circus tricks. It is actually a combination of traditional yoga poses, Pilates and dance, using a hammock. Here’s why you should give it a shot!
Total body workout
The aerial yoga movements force every part of the body to move and stretch. So the muscles are toned and redefined, and the joints get strengthened and regenerated thanks to these movements.
Improves flexibility
Aerial yoga helps you move freely and by putting in less effort and counteracting gravity. Staying suspended in the air releases tension in the bones and muscles and increases flexibility. It also strengthens core muscles and increases spinal and shoulder flexibility.
Aids digestion
The stretches and movements that are a part of the workout boost the digestive system, helping heal various digestion-related issues, including constipation and indigestion.
Good for the back
By hanging freely, you give the spine the chance to lengthen. There is less strain on your back while exercising, it eases tension in the spinal cord and hip joint.
Anti aging
It improves blood circulation, thereby combating aging and its symptoms. It detoxifies the circulatory and lymphatic systems which delays the onset of cardiovascular issues.
