Meet Dr. Shane Mackintosh & Dr. Kylie Lovelock: Your Local Fremantle Chiropractors
Shane and Kylie, a husband-and-wife team, bring a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to the Fremantle community to their chiropractic practice, My Chiro in Freo. Both Shane and Kylie completed five-year, double degrees at Murdoch University, with Kylie also earning a Biomedical Science degree from Notre Dame
Fremantle. Since beginning his career in 2009, Shane has honed his skills in private practice, exclusively in Fremantle since 2017. Kylie, a dedicated community member, has volunteered as a chiropractor at St. Pats) since 2022 and has served on the John Curtin College of the Arts P&C, including as president since 2024. As long-time Fremantle residents, they take pride in their active involvement in the community, where they, along with their daughter, are often spotted swimming laps at the Fremantle Pool. For Shane and Kylie, patient-centred care isn’t just a phrase—it’s the foundation of their practice. They understand that effective chiropractic care requires a personalised approach, ensuring that each patient feels fully informed, understood, and empowered in their health journey. This commitment includes:
- Long appointment times: Understanding that quality care goes beyond a quick appointment; it requires thorough, thoughtful consultations.
- Open, Honest Communication: Creating a comfortable environment where patients feel heard and can freely discuss their health concerns.
- Evidence-Based Care: Staying current with the latest research and being able to explain it in ways that make sense to patients.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Recognizing that every person’s health needs and priorities are unique—no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Shane and Kylie are passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals with integrity, compassion, and respect. At My Chiro in Freo, you’re not just a patient—you’re a valued part of our community.
