🚗🎧 Audiobooks Worth Sharing! 🎧🚗
Driving to my clients gives me the perfect chance to dive into some incredible audiobooks—and these two are worth sharing! 💭✨
📖 The Year I Met My Brain
This was an eye-opening insight into the late diagnosis of ADHD. It beautifully highlights how social media has fostered an incredible sense of awareness and belonging for those who didn’t realise they were part of a neurodivergent community. 💡💙
This book encourages us to celebrate our unique brains and stop trying to squeeze into a neurotypical mould. Instead, we can embrace who we are and learn to love the way we think, feel, and experience the world. 🌈🧠
📖 Born Into This by Adam Thompson
Written and read by the incredibly animated Mark Coles Smith (my new fave narrator!), this collection of short stories tackles deeply important and tough issues faced by the Aboriginal community. One quote that hit hard was the description of a plant and its "will to survive unshaken by the destruction of their environment." 🌱💔 Thompson masterfully weaves challenging themes into captivating short stories that I honestly feel should be a part of Australian curriculum.
