The Vagus Nerve Isn’t the Whole Story

You’ve probably heard the tips:

- Try breathwork.
- Cold plunges.
- Hum to stimulate your vagus nerve.

And while some of these can be helpful, they often miss the deeper truth:

→ Your nervous system isn’t a problem to fix.
→ Your vagus nerve isn’t something to “hack.”
→ And healing isn’t a 3-step checklist.

Especially for women, whose systems have been shaped by social conditioning, cycles, caregiving, and emotional labour.

Nervous system healing asks something more sacred:

→ Spaces where you don’t have to be “on.”
→ Relationships that don’t require you to shrink to feel safe.
→ Practices that honour your history, not override it.

You might be getting through the day holding it all together.

School drop-offs. Work meetings. Dinner prep. Smiling at the right times.

But inside?
Something feels off.

You’re tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix.
