Our Order Fulfilment team is currently looking for business partners who need support managing their online orders and stock. Avenue’s team completes all aspects of the order process - from stock management and quality control to dispatching - while continually upskilling and learning to navigate ecommerce platforms.

🐾 Meet Dave! As a member of the Botany Animals team, he loves heading out with the pups to the dog park. Each day brings something new for the team - from caring for dogs at the hub, to practising dog training skills, to heading out for park trips. The bonds formed with both the pups and their owners are the cherry on top!

Thank you to Mosman Council for their incredible support of Avenue over many years. Mosman Council have just awarded the Avenue Animals team $4000 to take part in work experience at Taronga Zoo. Thanks to Taronga's inclusive WINGS program, and Mosman Council's support, team members will have the opportunity to build their animal care skills, their confidence, and work as a team feeding and caring for the animals. This will be the third year we have worked with Taronga, and it is always a highlight for our team members.

Matt, Abby, Sharna and Steph from the Animals team were delighted to attend the grants presentation ceremony at Mosman Council and receive their certificate!

Russell from our Order Fulfilment team has made a new friend - Phoenix, one of the friendly dogs from the Animals team! 🌟 Team Member Spotlight: Adem 🌟

This month we’re celebrating Adem, who took his time exploring different Avenue teams before finding the perfect fit with our Gigs and Flyers team - and we’re so glad he did!

Adem has quickly become a reliable and valued team member. He’s always ready to lend a hand with extra tasks, works efficiently, and takes real pride in managing his time well. His cheerful spirit and positive attitude brighten the hub and make him a joy to work alongside.

Adem truly enjoys his schedule, embraces his independence, and feels at home among the familiar faces at Avenue. He’s already achieved so much in a short time, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.

This month we’re celebrating Abby, a valued member of both the Pets Team and Social Team for over five years!

Abby’s favourite tasks include walking the dogs and helping clean up after them. She’s working toward her goal of walking independently so she can take her own dog for a stroll.

Right now, Abby is also saving her remuneration for an exciting holiday to Bali!

We love having Abby on the team - her dedication and positive attitude brighten every day.

🍷 Wine with purpose: Pam Brown has donated her collection to support our parent organisation, Fighting Chance!

Retired dermatologist Pam Brown has dedicated her life to caring for others - and now her passion for wine is making a difference for Australians with disability. With a personal connection to Fighting Chance, she has generously donated her entire, carefully curated wine cellar to support our work.

Wine was a hobby. But medicine—and helping people—is who I am,” Pam says.
