Have you wondered how we treat those unwanted blood vessels? With a treatment called Sclerotherapy which is an injection of a saline solution into superficial spider veins.

This leads to fibrosis of the vessel, which becomes unable to carry blood so becomes less visible under the skin. The number of treatments depends on the severity of the condition and your veins may require a number of repeat injections (usually about 3-4 weeks apart) to ensure they are fully sclerosed and fade from view.
