What a wonderful session!
Our recent yoga for boxers workshop brought fighters and yogis together to explore flexibility, breath work and mindfulness as tools to enhance performance.

It was amazing seeing you all try something new, slow down, and connect mind + body in a different way. Big thanks to everyone .boxing who showed up, rolled out their mats, and gave it their all. Your energy was incredible!

If you’re part of a sports team or organisation and would love to bring yoga to your athletes, we are available for workshops and on going sessions. Drop us a DM to connect!

It’s here!!

We are thrilled to introduce Pilates at samasta yoga studio, with a fully equipped studio of reformers, trapeze table, Wunda chair, ladder barrel, spine corrector and fuse ladder.

Starting today, classes timetable and bookings in the app via our link in the bio.

Available both Mat and Equipment classes and bookings are essential as there is a maximum capacity of four students for equipment classes.

I’m so excited for you all to meet Zana Suica. She has over 15years of experience teaching Pilates and she provides a personal approach to each class and student. You are going to love her 🥰

Overcoming fear of handstands

When it comes to practicing handstands it can be really helpful to slowly build up experience and confidence with the support of props.

Using the wall and bolster means you don’t have to worry about balancing, you can focus on holding the shape, breathing and getting use to the sensation of being upside down.

Also using support you are able to hold the posture for longer periods of time and make subtle changes as well as build stamina and strength.

Handstands can teach us to face things that scare us. They require courage and trust and can teach us that when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Yes I’m 50!!

It has been a week!! I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for all my amazing gifts, messages, hugs and kisses.

I want you to know that it is only because of you all that I am able to teach yoga full time.

Some days it’s not easy, teaching can be challenging, life can be challenging and I can feel uninspired. But as soon as I see you all, feelings of joy and gratitude take over and I immediately feel inspired.

You are all the reason why I continue to teach yoga.

Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on longer holdings, stillness, and deep breathing. A gentle, supportive and therapeutic practice.

Every Thursday 7:30 - 8:30pm

Our lives are a reflection of the small choices we make each day, how we treat ourselves, spend our time, and direct our energy.

A daily routine can bring amazing changes in the body, mind and consciousness.

Routine helps to establish balance, aid’s digestion, absorption, discipline, peace and regularises a persons biological clock.

Morning Ritual

•Tongue Scraping, brush teeth
•Oil Pulling
•Neti pot followed by a few drops of Nasya oil
•Self Massage (Abhyanga) with Black Sesame Oil before shower
•Drink a fresh hot Lemon and Ginger tea

Enjoy and set the tone for a healthy and grounded day

Why we practice forward bends?

There are many benefits to forward bends, both standing and sitting.
They create length and space in the spine, counteracting compression, and their inward nature can promote introspection.

The forward bending position is a humble position, a position of surrender and letting go.
A consistent forward bend practice can help develop humility, patience, endurance and focus. 🙏
