New title, same friendly face - Physiotherapist Tom

Tom first joined Yates back in 2020 as a Sports Trainer, moved into the assistant role in 2022, and has now stepped into his dream career as a physio. He’s got a strong interest in sporting injuries and lower limb rehabilitation, bringing a hands-on approach and exercise-based focus to help his patients move and feel their best.

Outside the clinic, Tom enjoys spending time at the gym, going for a run, or winding down with a good book. Just don’t bring up football… he might be a while once he gets started.

Partnership Announcement 🤝

We’re excited to share that Yates Physiotherapy is now working in partnership with Dr Karthic Badrinath and Dr Luke Mooney — two highly respected specialists in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery.

This partnership gives our physio team direct access to expert medical advice, helping us deliver faster, more effective care for sporting and complex injuries.

Dr Luke Mooney is an internationally and locally trained orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures for the hip, knee, and shoulder. He brings a wealth of experience in treating joint injuries, arthritis, and trauma-related conditions.

Dr Karthic Badrinath is a specialist Sport and Exercise Physician and currently a team doctor for the Adelaide Crows AFL and SANFL teams. With dual fellowships in both sport and general practice medicine, he brings elite-level insight into injury prevention, management, and performance.

Is an introduction needed? Maybe not—but here’s one anyway!

Meet Brad, the founder of Yates Physiotherapy.

Back in 2017, he had a simple but powerful vision: to create a physio clinic where everyone gets top-notch care, backed by the latest research and a team that truly works together. Fast forward to today, and that’s exactly what Yates Physiotherapy is all about!

Brad’s the go-to guy for sports injuries, orthopedic rehab, lower back pain, tricky shoulder issues, and headaches. He’s got a solid skill set in dry needling, manual therapy, spinal rehab, and Clinical Pilates.

What more could you want in a physio?

Originally from Renmark in the Riverland, Brad loves a waterski and sneaks in the odd game of golf when he gets the chance. Outside of running the clinic, he’s also busy chasing around three kids—and somehow still manages to turn up to the gym most days - or so we think

He’s got a great circle of mates that help keep life balanced between work, family, and a bit of fun.

Above all, Brad believes in putting patients first. His goal isn’t just to help people recover—it’s to help them feel stronger, move better, and live healthier.
