📣🏉 Earlier this month some of our Physio’s - Megs and Gina attended the Teachers West Home games working alongside Dr Michael Young treating players over the course of the day. Dr Mick and Megs are both intermediate level 3 rugby union care qualified which was put to some use treating injuries on the day from 🏉📣

⭐️ Nasal open fracture concussion
⭐️ Suspected ACL
⭐️ Suspected ACJ and possible distal clavicle fracture
⭐️ Hamstring Injury
⭐️ Suspected distal radial fracture
⭐️ Calf injury
⭐️ Suspected ankle fracture

Huge congratulations to Millie on an incredible return to the field! 👏

After 13 months of hard work and rehabilitation following ACL and meniscus surgery, Millie made her comeback at the Junior State Cup North competition representing Thuringowa Touch.

Not only did she help lead her team to a Grand Final appearance, but she also took home the Best and Fairest award for the weekend 🏆

Your dedication, resilience, and commitment throughout rehab have been outstanding, and it’s been awesome to see you come back faster and stronger.

📣Athlete shoutout 📣

Imogen sustained a mid-foot injury during a dance training session. Due to her injury Imogen was placed in a moon boot for eight weeks. With the patients goals in mind Physio Megs in consultation with Imogen, designed a management plan where Imogen could mark her dance routine in her boot throughout dance practice.

Imogen worked extremely hard throughout her 16 weeks of rehab to get back to the big stage. Recently our amazing Imogen shone on the stage as one of the main characters “Ryan” in Barbie. 🎟️🎟️

Megs attended the concert and was absolutely blown away how Imogen had learnt and perfected all 16 dance’s!
