Ashley is knowledgeable within the NDIS and strives to make sure her people are heard.

We Are Hiring!

About the Role:
We’re seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team and support participants in developing their social and independent living skills. This role involves working an ongoing roster, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays in various locations across the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley Region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively as part of a supportive team.
- Apply person-centred care principles to all interactions.
- Provide direct care and support for daily living activities, including personal care, domestic duties, social support, transport, and medication assistance.
- Manage emotions and challenging behaviours with empathy and resilience.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as shift notes and relevant reports to care.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other key stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:
- Current unrestricted driver’s license.
- Disability Worker Screening- Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable vehicle with valid registration and comprehensive insurance for participant transport.
- Flexibility to work across varied shifts, including sleepovers.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and computer skills.
- A smartphone for work-related tasks.

Desired Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in the industry.
- Experience in the community services sector.
- Proven experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, complex behaviours, and disabilities.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
