Your wrist fracture may have healed… but that doesn’t mean the wrist is fully recovered.
After a period in a cast or splint it’s common to see wrist stiffness, reduced grip strength, irritated soft tissues and ligaments, pain with pushing or weight bearing. This is why some people still have pain even months after the bones has healed. The good news is Myotherapy Geelong can help with the right rehab. Massage to relieve symptoms and get the tissues moving then gradual loading. Here’s some early exercises we’ve used recently with a client.

The key is **slow, controlled, pain-free movement** — not forcing the range.

At the weekend I competed in my second ever Sprint Triathlon in Barwon Heads. A 400m swim, a 15km bike and a 4km run. A year later I can now run & was super happy to finish inside the top 100. 41st fastest on the bike out of 800+ . Somewhere in me I still have that competitive edge 🏊 🚲 🏃

We’re based inside Empowered Health Chiropractic, with regular in-house referrals from two chiropractors, so you’ll walk into steady clients and full books fast.
Established clinic. Strong reputation. Supportive team.
Hours to start:
1 afternoon/evening per week
Saturday morning option
Start earlier if available
Flexibility to increase hours as demand grows

• Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy
• Dry needling (essential)

Deep Tissue Massage helps reduce pain, calm the nervous system and empty your cup. That’s why things often feel better after a session. But pain relief is only part of the picture. If we don’t address • stress • mobility • load • movement patterns the cup slowly fills back up again. For some people, the above is enough & not everybody needs exercises however when pain keeps returning, or your body struggles with certain loads or movements, that’s when exercise becomes important. The exercises aren’t random, Ive chosen them because something needs improving. You have the time - it’s about prioritising and creating it.
