If this doesn’t put a smile on your face, we’re not sure what will 🏀❤️

Last nights basketball was all about the teamwork, the skills and the celebrations.

The pure joy in this video!

Tomorrow our very first Step Up session begins and honestly… we can’t wait 💜

Today we put our Sisterup HQ and Step Up program to the test with Rach stepping in as our trial participant for the day 💪

Step Up is built around real life skills, confidence, independence and connection, with every part of the day intentionally designed around our four pillars:
Health.
Relationships.
Community.
Learning.

Each Step Up day starts with a gym session before walking to public transport and heading to a local cafe to order a drink and complete some gratitude journaling. From there it’s back to Sisterup HQ for our learning module with this weeks session being weekly planning, before heading to the supermarket to shop for ingredients for lunch.

Then it’s back to HQ to wash hands, prepare ingredients, make lunch together, sit down and eat before finishing with the clean up and wash up.

From communication and social connection, to travel training, meal preparation, routine building, health and wellbeing, every part of the day is designed to support young women to continue building confidence, capability and independence in a genuine and supportive environment.

We are SO excited to officially get started tomorrow 💜

A different kind of birthday celebration today as we celebrate one year since Lachie joined Buddiup as a Team Leader.

From day one, we knew Lachie was the right fit. His genuine care, lived and professional experience, and passion to make a difference stood out straight away, not just for the boys in our programs but for their families as well.

We hear it all the time from families how much they value Lachie’s communication, care and responsiveness, and we feel incredibly lucky to have him as part of our team.

Thanks for everything you do Lachie!

This is what we love to see ❤️🖤

One of the Buddiup boys, Ben, who recently joined the All Abilities team, putting his hand up to help the club by pumping up a heap of footys ahead of night 1 of Auskick tonight.

When we talk about football/sport being the vehicle to get people involved in community clubs, this is exactly what we mean.

To see Ben volunteering his time to help others at the club fills us with pride. This is the stuff that truly embeds people into clubs and into their communities, and it’s what we love most about local sport… everyone doing what they can to support each other to do what they love.

Well done King Ben… or as he likes to be known now, The President 👑

The boys were pumped to see the new athlete tops arrive… and don’t they look good!

One big team, in the Buddiup gear, strengthening that sense of belonging and working together.

We love it.

Happy Friday everyone, hope you have a great weekend.

What an afternoon Saturday was at .stadium

The taking on in the first ever Non Contact game, and what a way to start.

The excitement, the smiles, the teamwork, the support. Everything about the day put a smile on everyone’s face.

We talk a lot about opportunities, and this was one of a lifetime.
The chance to play on GMHBA, to watch your son, grandson, nephew or mate run out on the same ground as their heroes and for some the first chance to play competitive football.

But it was more than that.
It was about being part of a team, a club, a community.

We’re so proud to sponsor this Newtown team. The way the club has wrapped their arms around the group has been incredible, and seeing so many of our mentors out there supporting the boys, coaching and cheering them on made the day even more special.

And the opportunities don’t stop with the players.

These photos were taken by the official photographer of the Newtown All Abilities team, Oscar. It’s hard to put into words how far Oscar has come since starting with us, but we’re incredibly proud to have him be an integral part of this team.

Memories for life. ❤️🖤🏉

Joshy was away for the grand final, but the boys made sure he didn’t miss out.

They held onto his medal so they could present it to him when he got back 🏀

Love seeing the boys look after each other and make sure everyone is part of it
