In 2015, I completed a Master of Medicine (Acupuncture & Tuina) at the Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China. I worked for 2 & 1/2 years in the Nanning No.7 People’s Hospital, Acupuncture Outpatients Department. As part of that course, I conducted a clinical trial into acupuncture's effect on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus HbA1c levels, with quite impressive results. I am hoping to do some similar sort of clinical trial here in Australia, to show that Diabetic patients’ blood glucose control would benefit from regular acupuncture treatments. Mission Statement
1. I am a practitioner of Alternate/Complementary Medicine. As such, I treat the whole person, not just the Western medicine diagnosis of disease. I will conduct an extensive investigation of your state of health and diagnose your condition based on the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine i.e. Yin/Yang, 5 Elements, Qi (Life-force), the Meridians, etc.
2. I am semi-retired, so am running this clinic as a non-for-profit business. If you have a Health Care Card i.e. you are on a low income, then don't hesitate to mention it to me. Also, if you need more than one treatment per week, I would prefer to treat patients at a price they can afford, rather than not helping people.
3. I practice from the front room of my home in Geelong West. It may not be a commercial, clinical space, but working from home allows me to adjust my prices based on what you can afford to spend. Feel free to call for a consultation.
