Can Chiropractors Help with Tongue-Tie? 👶🍼 Well, What Does the Research Say?

Here’s what current research shows when manual therapy of the head/neck/jaw is used for babies with feeding difficulties:
👶 Babies showed higher latch scores.
👶 After four weeks, sucking ability improved into the normal range and exclusive breastfeeding rate increased by roughly 25%.
👶 Infants with feeding problems recorded improved latch ability, more sustained latch, and mothers had reduced ni**le pain.
👶 When a true restrictive frenulum (tongue-tie) is present, release (frenotomy) by an appropriate clinician leads to better latch, less maternal pain and higher breastfeeding self-efficacy.
