We’re happy to introduce Nurse Practitioner Joelle Callaghan, the newest member of the Your Optimal Health team.

Joelle brings extensive clinical experience with a strong focus on whole-person care. She has a keen professional interest in women’s health, hormonal health (including bio-identical hormone management), diabetes, weight management, and gut health. Her calm, thorough and collaborative approach aligns perfectly with our clinic philosophy. Joelle is also an experienced Clinical Nutritionist with a keen interest in integrative care and functional testing.

As many know, Dr Igor Tabrizian’s waitlist is currently full and he is unable to take new patients for approximately 12 months. To ensure ongoing support for our community, Joelle will now be leading new patient consultations via video Telehealth.

At Your Optimal Health, we operate as a collaborative clinic.
✨ Dr Tabrizian reviews every patient file and provides commentary and clinical guidance, ensuring that all patients benefit from his extensive integrative experience while Joelle delivers timely, comprehensive care.

Joelle is qualified to:
• Prescribe medications
• Request pathology and investigations
• Manage ongoing care
• Provide integrative, evidence-informed support
• Work in close partnership with Dr Tabrizian across all patient files

Consultation Fees:
• $200 Initial Intake
• $150 Follow-Up

It’s great we are becoming more aware about the common chemicals that have been silently accumulating in our water and food chains. As consumers who unbeknownst to them have an intake of silent profile chemicals such as Paraquat, Glyphosate and PFAS we need to know what our health risks are from decades of exposure. These chemicals are likely to be metabolised by estrogen detox pathways and likely to destroy gut microbiome. That means that attention to these weaknesses could lead to better eviction treatments of such chemicals.
