'ELIZABETH'S TALE'
Elizabeth is a true Cherub, who was well loved, but showing signs of age.
She had a couple of cracks that needed repair, but her biggest issue was her hair.
Alot of old glue had spread to her face, and her eyes had dimmed with age.
A good clean and a few touch ups made a huge difference and then i began on her wig.
Turned out to be human hair which washed very gently was beautifully soft although very tangled. So like any mum/grandma, a very gentle combing to get the tangles out, much easier without the usual wriggling and squealing lol. I then stitched the hair onto a new cap and set it all in place, her fringe was way too long, so off to the salon, and i was able to create new eyelashes from the trimmings.
Back into her original pretty dress and i found her some new shoes, and off she went home to become the star of a family reunion.

Making Niew new again..
This dear bunny had been so well loved that all his fur, except his ears and tail had been cuddled off....
Leaving him very floppy and almost translucent....
Drastic surgery was needed.
So after consultation from his owner, i proceeded to completely disassemble him and cut a second skin, made of a wonderfully soft fur fabric, for every piece....i then sewed his old skin, inside each piece before reassembling him.
I was able to keep his original ears and tail, as well as his face.
I reenforced inside his face with the same fabric, keeping his facial features in place and created a hood for the back of his head, with ear holes for his ears
He went home very happy and ready for the next 10 years of cuddles....

Just over 2 years ago, i posted this, amazed that i had 18 repairs in the studio.
