I used to walk with my eyes on the ground.

Not because I was clumsy, but because I didn’t think I deserved to take up space.

I treated my body like something to be managed, hidden, pushed through. I had no real relationship with it at all.

Pilates changed that.
Not because of the muscles.
Not because of the method.
🫶🏼 Because for the first time, I was asked to pay attention to my body with kindness instead of criticism.

That’s the thing nobody talks about on International Pilates Day — between all the free classes and the highlight reels and the before and afters.

It’s not really about the body at all.
It’s about the relationship you build with it.

I walk differently now.
I take up space.
I’m not the same person I was.

That’s why I do this work. That’s why I built this studio.
