Welcome, while Men’s Mental Health has been hidden from the public eye, it is of paramount importance to the well-being of our community.

The Wandering Man - Creating a supportive environment for men’s mental health involves a multi-faceted approach, both in personal spaces such as the home or workplace, and in wider community settings. In Geelong, Victoria, we’re striving to bring this issue to light and provide support where it’s needed most. Men’s mental health is an often-overlooked aspect of our societal well-being, yet it is equally as important as any other facet of healthcare. In Geelong, the challenges that men face can be as diverse as the population itself, ranging from stress and anxiety related to employment or financial pressures, to more severe mental health conditions such as depression and PTSD. While societal norms have traditionally dictated a stoic demeanour among men, it’s crucial to understand that vulnerability is not a sign of weakness, but rather an aspect of the human condition. In our community, we’re working to shift the paradigm, encouraging men to speak openly about their mental health and seek support without stigma or judgment.

What a Cracker of a Day, Blokes! 🔥🍻

Massive shout-out to all the legends who rocked up to The Wandering Man Grand Final Public Holiday BBQ! It was a top day for a feed and a yarn 👊. Go Cats!
