This weekend reminded me why community matters.
As we celebrated the 80th birthday of our beautiful neighbour Elaine, I watched the children of our little neighbourhood gather to create something from the heart — a scrapbook filled with memories, drawings, and love.
Photos of fairy dress-ups in her studio.
Moments feeding chickens in her garden.
Stories shared, hugs given, flowers picked.
Magic in the everyday.
Elaine has offered our children a quiet kind of mentorship — the kind that comes not from loud instruction, but from living with kindness, creativity and care.
She has offered parents something, too: her presence, her wisdom, her ability to hold space gently.
It reminded me:
Community doesn’t just shape children — it supports parents, too.
It holds us when life feels too much. It reminds us we’re not alone. It helps us grow, together.
And this is exactly why Pure Wonder Soul Studio exists.
Because we need more spaces that feel like this:
• Rooted in intention
• Open-hearted and creative
• Safe for healing, connecting, and showing up just as we are
We’re more than a studio.
We’re a little village — soul-led, supportive, and always growing.
Thank you to Elaine — and to the many quiet teachers in our lives who help shape who we are.
With love,
Chloe 🌼
