Myth: “Mental health issues are rare.”
Fact: 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental health condition each year… it’s more common than you think!
Myth: “People with mental health conditions can just ‘snap out of it.’”
Fact: Mental health conditions aren’t a choice. Support and treatment help recovery.
Myth: “Seeking help is a sign of weakness.”
Fact: Asking for help is brave and important. Support is strength, not weakness.
