👣 Ingrown toenail giving you trouble? Redness, swelling, pain, or even infection? At Stance Podiatry, we offer a safe and effective solution: the Partial Nail Avulsion procedure — a long-term fix for a painful, recurring problem.
🔍 What is Partial Nail Avulsion?
It’s a minor surgical procedure where only the problematic side of the nail is removed — not the whole nail! It’s commonly used to treat:

✅ Ingrown toenails
✅ Recurrent infections
✅ Thickened or curved nail edges
✅ Painful nail pressure against the skin

🩺 What to Expect:

The toe is numbed using local anesthetic
The affected portion of the nail is carefully removed
In many cases, a chemical (phenol) is applied to prevent regrowth of the ingrown section
